It appears that the Cobbs Creek Community Environmental
Education Center was a portal to the Sellers Hall, a stop on the
Underground Railroad. This Map shows the distance from the Center to
Sellers Hall, a distance of 3,379.2 feet, a little over six tenths of a mile. The next map,
drafted in
1856, shows that the Seller's property reached all the way down to the
creek at the time.
